Av
From wiki.thepatternofeverything.org
The Fifth Month, Av, of the Hebrew Sacred Calendar referred to by its Babylonian name. Historically, it is considered the month where "the darkest events in Jewish history occurred"[1] primarily because both the First and Second Temple were destroyed during the same month and day (9th day of the fifth month).[2] Incidently, on this same month and day in the year 1290 a.d. the Jewish people were expelled from England and were not allowed to return for almost 400 years.[3]
