Anatomy of the Human Thyroid
THE THYROID GLAND
The human thyroid gland is a butterfly shaped gland that sits just below the 'Adam's Apple' in the front portion of the neck. The thyroid gland has two lobes, the left and right lobes, connected by the isthmus.
The thyroid is included in a triad consisting of the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, and the thyroid gland. The hypothalamus produces a hormone called TRH ( thyrotrophin - releasing hormone ). This hormone is sent to the pituitary gland and causes the pituitary to release thyroid - stimulating hormone ( TSH ).The TSH travels to the thyroid gland instructing it to produce and release two thyroid hormones called Thyroxine ( T4 ) and Triiodothyronine ( T3 ). T3 is the active form of thyroid hormone. About 80% of T3 in the body is converted from T4 in various organs of the body such as kidneys, liver, and muscles. The thyroid gland itself releases only about 20% of the production of T3 on a daily basis.Without proper conversion the hormone is not free to travel throughout the bloodstream and enter into the cells of the body, but is bound to proteins and not available to perform.
The Thyroid Gland is an organ that affects or influences every organ, cell, and system in the body such as metabolism, body temperature, muscles, lungs, heart, skin, hair, nails, brain, bones, intestines, stomach, and sexual organs, to name only a few.It is also known to have a direct effect on mental health, cholesterol, blood pressure, energy level, and heart rate.
Too much thyroid hormone or too little hormone can cause major physical and/or mental ailments, including death in severe cases.
Too little thyroid hormone causes hypothyroidism ( underactive thyroid ) which in turn can cause many secondary illnesses.Too much thyroid hormone causes hyperthyroidism ( overactive thyroid ) which in turn may cause many secondary illnesses and symptoms, if left untreated.
Thyroid hormones are very potent and powerful and must be issued throughout the body in a very precise manner. The Priests had functions they had to perform very precisely in the Tabernacle. ICor.6:19-20 tells us our bodies are temples or tabernacles of the Holy Spirit.

This reminds me of the preaching of the gospel,1st Cor.15/1-4 to be tied with Isaiah 8/20,and isiah 28/9-10. it must be precise, if not we could be decieved and which can cause our souls to become sick or even die. to little info can cause a soul to be deceived,as in not to have enough enough info to have a proper understanding, and cause a soul to believe something that is not right. To much info at one time can cause confusion loosing track of a train of thought.Thats why it says here a
little and their a little.
thats why class is limited to 2 hrs.
